I’m so worth it!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas, out there in the blogosphere, spending quality time with family and friends and giving and receiving fabulous presents. Maybe you even managed to get away from it all – or maybe you didn’t do anything special at all. But whatever you did or didn’t, I hope it was exactly what you wanted!

I have to say that I’ve been thoroughly spoiled this Christmas season. Of course, my birthday just happens to be in there as well, so it’s been a pretty busy time, what with all that opening of presents. Then there was all the mandatory eating and drinking and socializing – I’m exhausted just thinking about all I’ve had to do in the past several days!

PG came through on the gift front with great style: for my birthday, I was the very lucky recipient of a pink and white sapphire necklace with matching earrings. I didn’t even know that pink and white sapphires existed till now! But really, how perfect a gift is that for someone whose nickname is Pinklea?!

And for Christmas, there was another pair of gorgeous earrings, this time baby pink pearl studs garnished with wee diamonds. I tell ya, I’m just sparkling now – and PG racked up HUGE points for all this beautiful jewelry. It may even make up for the kitchen appliances he gave me for Christmas last year.

Maybe.

Possibly.

I’m still thinking about that one.
